Nerding out on some old costume history

I'm not taking any summer classes but today felt like brushing up on my costume history material. The past brings me a lot of inspiration. Specifically, ancient greece hairstyles are beautiful and intricate.

Also, this painting from the middle ages circa 1388, reminds me I some current trends with color blocking.
